Class of 2007 – Wilson High School 10 Year Reunion

Hello Wilson Class of 2007,

I am in communication with the following three venues, all located in Long Beach, CA, and have been able to negotiate relatively comparable options that would include the event room rental, hors d’oeuvres, and cash bar for 75-100 people:

  • Big Rec/Recreation Park 18 Golf Course

  • Hotel Maya

  • Hilton


At this point, a deposit is required to move forward with booking and to secure the venue.  The deposit ranges from $450-750 between the three spaces.  With the volatility of this event, I am not comfortable proceeding without some literal buy-in from YOU, my fellow 2007 Wilson grads.    

Ticket Pricing Schedule:

  • $65: 10/4/2017 – 10/11/2017
  • $75: 10/12/2017 – 11/22/2017
  • $85: At the Door (11/24/2017)

*Eventbrite charges a small processing fee/commision that will be added to the figures above when you check-out.  Event organizers do not set these fees, so I have no control over them.*

**In the unfortunate event that enough tickets are NOT sold within the first week (10/4/2017 – 10/11/2017 ) to cover the deposit and as an indication of actual headcount, I am pulling the plug on this operation and your money will be refunded in full.  Otherwise, if the Reunion takes place as I am describing it above, ALL TICKET SALES ARE refunds, rain checks, or IOUs.**  


A place to gather is great, but it won’t be a party without a DJ.  Also, I think it would be really fun to have a photo booth to capture the new memories we will be creating together.

If ticket sales are such that they substantially exceed the cost of the venue with more than a month left until the Reunion, I will look into booking the DJ and photo booth...the DJ will be priority.
